Great Post by Frederico Viticci about trusted systems and your workflow:
iOS devices are now playing an important role in our lives, and we shouldn’t stop exploring all the ways to make them better with new apps, and different workflows. But I believe no one can blame us for choosing the trusted system when it’s time to work, and stop tinkering.
I agree with most of his thoughts, and it’s because of this that I continue to be concerned about the long term benefits of the App store economy, both on iOS and now OS X. Developers have been able to continue to develop and improve apps because of the extreme growth curve of the platforms. Eventually that growth will slow and when it does, the fact that there is no way to charge for upgrades to app is going to really hit home for those developers that want to build long term.
